Terms and Conditions of Sale

This contract is between the "Internet User" and the company "Editions A. LECONTE, " SA registered with the city of Creteil RCS under number B 572 140 788, SIRET number 572 140 788 00058, French VAT number 04572140788, represented by Xavière Leconte.
The sales contract between the company Editions A. LECONTE and the Internet User is exclusively governed by these general conditions of sale.
Object of the contract
This contract is intended to define the conditions under which the contract is concluded for the sale of items selected by the Internet User and the conditions under which the selected items will be paid and delivered.
Presentation of items offered for sale at the following link
The site proposes different items for sale, notably souvenirs, postcards, maps and touristic guidebooks.
These items are represented by photographs on the site. A short description accompanies them. It is expressly agreed between the parties that the photographs and descriptions are intended to be as accurate as possible but do not engage the responsibility of the company Editions A. LECONTE if the delivered goods do not correspond exactly to the photographs which are presented for informational purposes only.
In addition, the company Editions A. Leconte has a necessarily limited stock of the items presented on its website.
If the Internet User should order a product that should become unavailable, the company Editions A. LECONTE will promptly inform the Internet User and reimburse them the paid price upon first request. However, the lack of product availability cannot engage in any way the liability of the company Editions A. LECONTE.
Prices
The items presented on the site of Editions A. LECONTE are denominated in Euros and VAT, excluding shipping costs and customs clearance (in the case of exportation) and are only valid for mail orders. If the VAT rate should change, the company Editions A. LECONTE will reflect the change of this rate in the prices of the items sold.
Payment
The validation of the order by the Internet User constitutes a signature and consent to the contract of sale.
The Internet User is informed that the company Editions A. LECONTE works in partnership with PAYPAL. For the security of its transactions, the company Editions A. LECONTE has called upon the PayPal sytem.
This system helps protect confidential data particurally relating to the Internet User's credit card information and the communications are conducted in an encrypted manner. The PayPal system queries the PayPal online payment manager.
An authorization request is sent to the credit card network and the online payment manager issues an electronic certificate. In accordance with Articles 1316 and the Civil Code, the electronic certificate issued by the online payment manager is evidence of the amount and date of transaction.
Delivery
At the time of order, a delivery date is provided for the Internet User. The provided date as an indication.
The delivery rate as well as the time depends on the delivery address and notably the country of destination.
The company Editions A. LECONTE commits to make the products it has in stock available to a carrier within 72 hours of the Internet User's order confirmation. Delivery is made to the address provided by the Internet User at the time of order.
The products are delivered by Colissimo as their weight permits. The delivery time is usually 48 to 72 hours.
From the moment the Post Office handles the Internet User's package, the package's tracking can be consulted at the following websites: www.csuivi.courrier.laposte.fr or www.colissimo.fr.
This tracking can be performed with the package number that the Internet User can recover at www.editions-leconte.com.
The company Editions A. LECONTE cannot guarantee a specific delivery time as it uses third parties to perform this service.
Editions A. LECONTE cannot be held responsible for delivery delays of objects ordered by the Internet User.
In case of a late delivery of more than 7 working days, the Internet User may withdraw his/her order by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt and request a payment refund. If the package was shipped prior to the company Editions A. LECONTE's receipt of this letter, the latter will nevertheless proceed to refund, after having received the items returned by the Internet User, provided that they are in their original packaging and in new condition.
Right of Withdrawal
The Internet User may have a right of withdrawal by returning the products to the company headquarters

To be valid, this right of withdrawal must be exercised under the following conditions:
- In a period of 7 days after receipt of the package, or 7 days past the delivery deadline indicated in the order registration obtained at www.editions-leconte.com.
- It is expressly stipulated that for the right of withdrawal to be valid, the products must be returned in their original packaging and in new condition. Damaged items will not be accepted.
- Return costs are the sole responsibility of the Internet User.
If all right of withdrawal conditions are met, the company Editions A. LECONTE will reimburse the Internet User by check or bank transfer.
Personal Data
Accepting the Internet User's order requires the collection of personal data.
The Internet User has, in accordance with the Act of August 7, 2004, a right of access and correction of personal data.
The company Editions A. LECONTE registered a declaration to the CNIL (No. 1524385 v 0).
The company Editions A. LECONTE guarantees that at any time, it does not collect personal data of the Internet User relative to his/her bank account information. This information is encrypted by a SSL security system (Secure Socket Layer).
The right of access to personal data may be exercised by writing to the company

The Internet User is informed that his/her personal data can be transferred to the Paypal service.
Intellectual Property
The elements on the website www.editions-leconte.com as well as sold items are protected by French copyright law and by international conventions on intellectual property.
The company Editions A. LECONTE is the sole owner of all copyrights and intellectual property of the objects it sells on its website.
In addition, the company Editions A. LECONTE is the sole owner of the trademark LECONTE.
It is expressly stipulated that the purchase of all products on www.editions-leconte.com only implies the transfer of ownership of material objects. The sales contract does not imply any assignment or grant of intellectual property rights of any nature whatsoever.
Consequently, the Internet User expressly and irrevocably acknowledges that he/she cannot make any representation or reproduction, in whole or part, of the objects presented and offered for sale as well as any of the elements of the website at www.editions-leconte.com.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This contract is subject to French law.
All disputes between the parties regarding the implementation or interpretation of this contract will be subject to the jurisdiction of Creteil, France.
